Happy summer everyone! As we are gearing up for Fall 2018, I thought it would be a good time to share some updates. Fall 2017 intern, Julia Sorensen, is excited to begin her studies towards a PhD in Developmental Psychology at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina next month!
About her time as a Gil Intern Julia told us: “The Gil Internship taught me many professional skills to further my interview capabilities, and it also taught me to have the drive to ask for what I want. My experience at the Early Brain Development Program helped me see the variety of research environments I can work in, and how different people’s skills interplay off of each other in the workplace. The Internship is beyond valuable to an aspiring researcher.”
We wish Julia the best in her continued studies, and are excited to have her nearby as a resource in the coming years!
